About Carol Thompson
Carol Thompson has been working with families for over twenty years bringing extensive experience and skills, to her business, Families Matter. She is a member of 'Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors' (AIPC) and an 'Accredited Gottman Educator'. Through listening and developing solutions to family difficulties, Carol can provide you with personalised strategies to increase family harmony.
Throughout her work Carol has seen how challenging behaviours and habits can cause great distress to family members on a daily basis. Through consultation with all family members Carol enables solutions to emerge to change these behaviours. By changing the negative behaviour you will positively change the dynamics between family members. The relationship within the family can then become functional and satisfying.
Carol has raised four children, including twins and has two new grandsons. She has many years experience in relationship skills enhancement with couples, parent, child and sibling relationships. Carol provides courses in family relationships and has educated over three thousand people in the local Albury-Wodonga and surrounding area.
